Draft a response to an interview question
Enter a question, add the job context, choose the tone and focus, and turn your profile information into a response you can practice.

Responses sits beside Interview Prep at the top of the Prep tab.

- 2Select Responses.
2. Enter the question and context
The question must be specific enough to answer. Additional context can include technologies, role requirements, or facts you want to emphasize.
- 1Choose the Question Category.
- 2Enter the complete interview question.
- 3Add relevant context, keywords, or the job description.
3. Choose how the answer should be structured
Use the response controls to set the tone, focus, style, and length that fit the question.
- 1Choose a Response Tone.
- 2Select the Response Focus areas that matter.
- 3Choose the response style and length.
4. Generate and review the response
The response is a practice draft. Replace generic language with details you can explain naturally in an interview.
- 1Generate the response.
- 2Check every example against your real experience.
- 3Copy the result if you want to revise it elsewhere.
- 4Practice the ideas aloud instead of memorizing the wording line by line.
What you should have when you finish
You have a structured practice response grounded in your profile and the context you supplied.
If something does not work
The response is too generic.
Add a specific example to your Profile or Additional Context, select narrower focus areas, and generate again.
The app says profile data is missing.
Open Profile, complete and save the relevant work experience or story, then return to Responses.
